Weather Skips
We aim to scoop dog poop in all weather and all seasons. In the case of occasional bad weather, we may need to skip a pooper-scooper service. Disruptive weather includes very high or very low temperatures, active thunderstorms, hail or other life-threatening weather events. Rain can be a little more subjective. If it is misting, drizzling or lightly raining, our Scoopers can usually continue their work. But if rain is steady or quite heavy during significant chunks of a work day, our Scoopers struggle with keeping their clothes and tools dry as well as with navigating slippery conditions due to pooling and mud. In those cases, we operate much like we do on a snow day. Your property may be skipped but when we get back the following week there will be a much bigger job to do so we charge your usual amount. If you pick up in the meantime, just let the office know and we’ll happily credit you for that week’s service!
Scheduling Conflict
Despite our best efforts and intentions, and only very rarely, we are unable to cover a scooping route due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts. We are a very small, family operated business and whether it be a temporary shortage on help, an unexpected sickness, injury or other insurmountable challenge among our team, sometimes we can’t manage a route for one week. When this is the case, we are always embarrassed and very sorry for the inconvenience the skip may cause you. Whether or not you pick up any waste before your next service, we always credit you a service when it is skipped due to issues on our end. Keep a lookout for your next invoice or sales receipt and let us know immediately if you do not see a service credit that you believe you are due because of a scheduling conflict service skip.
Your Property is Inaccessible
Was your driveway snow shoveled up against your fence? Forget it was your scooping day and leave your dogs outside unattended? Did you put a new lock on your gate and not remember to alert us to the code? Is your backyard an active construction site while you build your dream deck or swimming pool? These things happen and we understand! If our Scoopers come across an obstacle, we will call and knock to ask your advice on how, if possible, to proceed. Unless we receive an answer and have a solution to work with, we will have to move on and skip your stop. In these cases, you will still be charged for the service as we will have spent time trying our best to work around an unforeseen challenge!
Your Payment Fell Behind
These things happen too! Family members end up in the hospital, you start a new job, you have a new schedule and before you know it, you’re behind on paying the Pooper Scooper. If your house has been skipped and
